Mission: To conserve, protect and promote our fish, wildlife, natural environments and other resources through safety, education and law enforcement

The Enforcement Division is part of the Regional Services Branch of the department. Approximately 60 field staff are located in 27 offices througout the province and include full time and seasonal employees.

The Conservation Officers conduct investigations and respond to a variety of calls from the public. We deliver compliance and enforcement services to ensure the sustainable use of Nova Scotia's natural resources. As well, our activities support the use and enjoyment of the outdoors in a way that minimizes risks to the public.
