Nova Scotia Environment and Climate Change now accepts Online Applications and Payments for the Water and Wastewater Operators Certification Program. You can apply, pay on-line and upload any required documents here: Apply Online.

Manual Application with Payment by Cheque or Money Order
If you would like to submit your application by mail or email with payment by cheque or money order, please complete one of the following application forms.

- Reciprocity Application (PDF:194k) (There are no fees associated with this application.).
Cheques or money orders must be made payable to “Nova Scotia Minister of Finance”.
Operator-in-Training Exam
Operator-in-Training exams are written through an online examination portal. Once approved, you will be sent a link by email to access the exam. Be sure to provide an email address with your application. If paying by check or money order through manual application, we will only approve your application once this payment is received.
