Get Growing Program
The Get Growing Program supports the growth of Nova Scotia small farms through the adoption of specialized infrastructure or equipment. Projects should help the expansion of local agricultural production for local markets.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be a farm or Mi'kmaq conducting farming activities in a Mi'kmaw community.
Farms must:
- be currently registered under the Farm Registration Act.
- have generated an annual eligible gross commodity income of $30,000 or less.
- be actively farming in the program year and the applicant must be 19 years of age or older.

Program opening: April 22, 2025
Application deadline: September 30, 2025
Claim deadline: December 31, 2025

How to apply
Submit a complete application with all supporting project quotes by the application deadline listed.
Applicants new to Programs since 2023 must complete the Program Funding Registration (PFR) form. Returning applicants are to update their PFR form as necessary.
