Organic Certification Rebate Program
The objective of the Organic Certification Rebate program is to encourage more Nova Scotian farms to become certified organic, as well as to support those who have already made the changes needed to be a certified organic farm in the province.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be a farm or Mi'kmaq conducting farming activities in a Mi'kmaw community.
Farms must:
- be currently registered under the Farm Registration Act.
- be actively farming in the program year and the applicant must be 19 years of age or older.
- be certified organic at the time you apply OR currently transitioning to certified organic

Deadline or important dates
Program Opening: April 22, 2025
Application Deadline: March 15, 2026
How to apply
Complete a complete application by the application deadline listed (make sure to check the application for details on all required supporting documents).
Applicants new to Programs since 2023 must complete the Program Funding Registration (PFR) form. Returning applicants are to update their PFR form as necessary.
