Description
On October 2, 2006, CleanEarth Technologies Inc. registered the Research & Development and Soil Treatment Facility project for environmental assessment, in accordance with Part IV of the Environment Act.
The purpose of the proposed undertaking is to provide services to remediate soils or materials containing contaminants classified as waste dangerous goods at the CleanEarth Facility located at 203 Aerotech Drive, Enfield, Nova Scotia. If approved, the project would commence in the first quarter of 2007.
Under the Environmental Assessment Regulations, a permanent commercial facility for the handling of waste dangerous goods, is defined as a Class I undertaking.

Public comments regarding this project were accepted from October 2, 2006 to October 16, 2006. Comments submitted on the Registration Document are available from the Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Climate Change Library.
