Limestone Trucking Assistance Program 2019-2020
The Limestone trucking assistance program aims to help Nova Scotia farms defray the cost of trucking limestone to give equal opportunity neutralizing the acidity of the soil on agricultural land and improve production efficiencies.
A farm that:
- Has a current Farm Registration
- Is at least 19 years of age
- Has a current soil analysis or nutrient management plan at the time of application (within one year)
Spring intake opening: February 1, 2019
Spring intake closing: April 1, 2019
Spring intake claim deadline: August 1, 2019
Fall intake opening: July 1, 2019
Fall intake closing: October 15, 2019
Fall intake claim deadline: January 15, 2020
How to Apply
Complete the Limestone Trucking Application Form and submit to the Programs and Business Risk Management office with your current soil analysis or Nutrient Management Plan lime program.
Clients new to programs since 2019 must complete the Program Funding Registration (PFR) form. Returning clients to update PFR form as necessary.
