Progress Monitoring Committee

On 31 August 2026, the Progress Monitoring Committee published its third and final annual report. The Progress Monitoring Committee was established in 2023 by the provincial and federal governments to provide a mechanism for monitoring, reporting on, creating mutual accountability and exchanging knowledge and information as Canada, Nova Scotia and others respond to Turning the Tide Together, the Final Report of the Mass Casualty Commission.

The Progress Monitoring Committee supported engagement and transparency as governments and other partners worked together to advance this vital work. With the release of the third and final annual report, the Progress Monitoring Committee has finished its work and will no longer be responding to inquiries.
