Game and resource laws are designed to protect you as well as your natural resources. A person who breaks these laws is a thief, stealing from you and your community. If you know of someone breaking these laws report what you know. Often information which seems insignificant or unimportant can be of the greatest value.
Poaching is not just jacking, or hunting out of season, it is any illegal activity related to wildlife for example filling another person's license tags or hunting too close to houses.
Resource offences also impact us by destroying habitat through poor forest harvesting practices or illegal burning.
Conservation Officers work is guided by the principles of law, sometimes it takes years to build a case to take to court. If your information is not acted upon immediately it does not mean it was not received or is not important. Help us build a solid court case, keep providing us with your information.
