In the link below you will find a revised guide to surface water withdrawals that reflects feedback from stakeholders on the guide. The feedback supported our work to ensure that the information outlining the requirements that must be met are clear and easily understood.
Key revisions will help to clarify:
- definitions and other guide content on the requirements described;
- water use information required in submissions, including examples for various applications;
- sustainable yield calculations, including further description of requirements for flowing watercourses and storages; and,
- monitoring and contingency planning.
