Application for Reconsideration: Section 19 – Apply to the Board to reconsider a decision or order. |

Application for Certification (Non-Construction Industry): Section 23 – Apply to the Board for union certification in the non construction industry (see Section 95 for construction industry). |

Application for Amendment of Certification: Section 28 – Applies to Part 1 and Part 2 of the act to amend an existing certification (for example, include or exclude classification of bargaining unit, update name of the union or employer, combine previous certifications). |

Application for Revocation of Certification: Section 29 – Revoke your union’s existing certification. |

|
Application for Resolution of a Question: Section 30 – Resolution of a question whether a recognition agreement represents or represented a majority of the employees in the unit defined by the agreement. |

Application for Successor Rights: Section 31 – Resolve a question to bargaining rights arising from the sale of a business, amalgamation of municipalities or contract work. Applies to both Part 1 and Part 2 of the Trade Union Act. |

Application for Order Concerning Status of Successor Trade Union: Section 32 – Request an Order by reason of a merger, amalgamation or transfer of jurisdiction. |

Complaint Concerning Work Stoppage - Request for Cease-and-Desist Order: Section 51 –Request a cease-and-desist order to any persons engaged in illegal work stoppage activities (jurisdictional disputes for construction industry, see Section 52). |

Complaint Concerning a Jurisdictional Dispute: Section 52 – Request issue of an interim order directing the assignment of work to prevent a work stoppage as a result of jurisdictional dispute. |

Duty of Fair Representation: Section 54A – File a complaint under Part 1 (Non-Construction Workplace) related to union representation of bargaining unit employee. |
