| Anyone in Nova Scotia who operates boiler, refrigeration and/or compressor plants needs this registration to determine the size of plant, and the corresponding staffing requirements for Power Engineers. | |

An application form can be obtained from the Technical Safety
Divison, Power Engineers Section of Labour and Advanced Education . When completed,
it is submitted to the Power Engineers Section of the Department.
The Inspector/Examiner will review and set out class(es) of staffing requirements.
If all requirements are met and the application is approved, the registration will be sent to the applicant by mail. |

| This licence is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of issue or from the date of the most recent renewal. | |

1) Indirectly - Labour and Advanced Education will be involved with such factors as
plant emissions / fuel supplies, etc.
2) If PROPANE is utilized, Labour and Advanced Education: Office of the Fire Marshal, may be involved. 3) Technical Safety Regulation, Technical Safety of Labour and Advanced Education. |
