Natural Resources Education Centre

The Natural Resources Education Centre is located in Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia in the beautiful Musquodoboit Valley. We offer curriculum-based educational programs for schools and groups at all age/grade levels with the goal of fostering a sense of stewardship and sustainable development of our natural resources.

The NREC facility has two classrooms, a boardroom and a 120 acre (80 hectare) woodlot with over 3 km of hiking trails. Our woodlot is an excellent spot for a hike, snowshoeing, cross country skiing or stopping for a quiet picnic at our look-off.
