Subject: New Electrical Certification Organization

The Electrical Code Regulations require that all electrical products sold, leased, rented, installed or used in Nova Scotia shall be certified ,as approved equipment ,by a certification organization acceptable to the Chief Electrical Inspector.Please be advised that effective immediately QPS Evaluation Services shall be accepted in Nova Scotia as an electrical certification and a special inspection organization within their scope of their accreditation by Standards Council of Canada and per any rules specific to Nova Scotia as determined by the Chief Electrical Inspector.

In order for the full certification mark to be accepted it must be accompanied by a small " c " at the eight o'clock position
