2025 Belleisle Marsh Waterfowl Hunting Blind Lottery – Draw opens 1 August



The Department of Natural Resources is currently accepting applications for permission to use waterfowl hunting blind sites at Belleisle Marsh, Annapolis County. Anyone in possession of a Nova Scotia Wildlife Resources Client Card is eligible to enter the draw for a blind site on constructed wetlands during the first 3 days of the waterfowl hunting season (1 to 3 October 2025).

Applicants may fill in the application form, save the application form and send to belleisleblindlottery@novascotia.ca.

Deadline: Friday, 29 August 2025 (applications must be received by 4:30 pm on 29 August)

Draw will take place Tuesday, 1 September 2025. You will be notified by mail immediately following the draw to inform you if you were drawn and to advise you of the number of your hunting blind.

If you choose not to use your designated blind site, notify the Lawrencetown Department of Natural Resources Office.
