2024 Belleisle Marsh Waterfowl Hunting Blind Lottery – Draw opens 1 August



The Department of Natural Resources and Renewables is currently accepting applications for permission to use waterfowl hunting blind sites at Belleisle Marsh, Annapolis County. Anyone in possession of a Nova Scotia Wildlife Resources Client Card is eligible to enter the draw for a blind site on constructed wetlands during the first 3 days of the waterfowl hunting season (1 to 3 October 2024). Hunting blind sites 10, 11 and 12 are not available this year due to habitat enhancement work.

Applicants may fill in the application form, save the application form and send to belleisleblindlottery@novascotia.ca.

Deadline: Friday, 30 Augst 2024 (applications must be received by 4:30 pm on 30 August)

Draw will take place Monday, 2 September 2024. You will be notified by mail immediately following the draw to inform you if you were drawn and to advise you of the number of your hunting blind.

If you choose not to use your designated blind site, notify the Lawrencetown Department of Natural Resources and Renewables Office.
