The Department of Natural Resources is currently accepting applications for permission to use waterfowl hunting blind sites at Belleisle Marsh, Annapolis County. Anyone in possession of a Nova Scotia Wildlife Resources Client Card is eligible to enter the draw for a blind site on constructed wetlands during the first three days of the waterfowl hunting season (1 to 3 October 2026).

Applicants may fill in the application form and submit via email to:  belleisleblindlottery@novascotia.ca.

Deadline

Monday, 31 August 2026 (applications must be received by 4:30pm)

The draw will take place Monday, 1 September 2026. You will be notified by mail immediately following the draw to inform you if you were drawn and to advise you of the number of your hunting blind.

If you choose not to use your designated blind site, notify the Lawrencetown Department of Natural Resources Office.
