Available to Nova Scotians 65 years of age and older.
Available to anyone with a valid Nova Scotia Health Card.
Available to Nova Scotians diagnosed with cancer and an income less than $35,000.
Available to Nova Scotians and intended for use in end of life care at home.
Eligibility determined by the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services.
The Government of Nova Scotia is expanding the use of biosimilar medications in Nova Scotia Pharmacare programs. Patients covered under Pharmacare will need to switch to a biosimilar version of their prescribed medication to retain coverage.
