Homicide DOB: 70-06-15The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering rewards of up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Glenn Bourgeois. On July 21 , 2007, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Halifax Regional Police were sent to investigate a complaint about gunshots fired in the Maynard and Woodill Street area. The police found Glenn Bourgeois when they arrived at the scene. Mr. Bourgeois received several gunshot wounds and later died from his injuries. The police investigation revealed that two black males were seen fleeing the area immediately after the shooting, one of which had a firearm in his hand. Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for the murder of Glenn Bourgeois should call the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program at 1-888-710-9090. The reward is payable in Canadian funds and will be apportioned as deemed just by the Minister of Justice for the Province of Nova Scotia. Employees of law enforcement and correctional agencies are not eligible to collect this reward. |
