Nova Scotia Provincial Police Long Service Award Program

 

Eligibility

Any Police Officer who has served in Nova Scotia for a minimum of 15 or 25 years. Retired police officers are eligible for the award. Years of service in Nova Scotia with the Halifax Port Authority Police, Military Police or CNR Police is considered when calculating eligible years of service. This includes non-consecutive years in the province.

 

Apply

Applications are open for the Nova Scotia Police Long Service Medal for 15 and 25 year awards. The application deadline is 1 June 2026.
