Homicide
The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering a reward in the amount of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Oren Edward Williams.
On August 14, 2022, police responded to a report of a suspicious death on Brian Street in East Preston. RCMP officers found the body of Oren Edward Williams on the side of the road, at the end of a driveway. The RCMP is investigating the death as a homicide.
Investigators believe there are people who have information they have not offered to the police that could result in arrests and possible charges.

The reward is payable in Canadian funds and will be apportioned as deemed just by the Minister of Justice for the Province of Nova Scotia. Employees of law enforcement and correctional agencies are not eligible to collect this reward.
