A film produced by the Office of Aboriginal Affairs in which four Mi'kmaq and two former premiers of Nova Scotia discuss Mi'kmaq history, their present place in Nova Scotia society and their hopes for the future. Democracy 250 co-chairs John Hamm and Russell MacLellan participated in the fireside chat at the Mersey Lodge with Mi'kmaq filmmaker Cathy Martin, historian Dr. Dan Paul, Jamie Battiste, a professor at the University of Cape Breton and Ashley Julian, a third year political science student at Dalhousie University.
