The Province of Nova Scotia is offering a reward in the amount of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Raymond Floyd Peters.

On January 7, 2013, members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Dartmouth North.  When officers arrived, they located Mr. Peters, the victim, in an apartment on Jackson Road suffering from gunshot wounds.  He was transported to hospital by ambulance, where he passed away the following day.  The medical examiner determined the cause of death was a homicide.

Investigators believe there are persons who have information they have not offered to the police that could result in arrests and possible charges.

The reward is payable in Canadian funds and will be apportioned as deemed just by the Minister of Justice for the Province of Nova Scotia.  Employees of law enforcement and correctional agencies are not eligible to collect this reward.
