The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering rewards of up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Nathan Ross Cross.

On April 24, 2011, members of the RCMP responded to reports of gunshots fired, and a male wounded, on Churchill Terrace, North Preston, Nova Scotia. When officers arrived, they located a 21 year old, Nathan Cross, unconscious and unresponsive. Mr. Cross was transported to hospital by paramedics and passed away from the gunshot wound he received. The investigation revealed that Mr. Cross had been injured while standing outside with a group of individuals when a suspect ambushed the group, firing several shots at them.

The reward is payable in Canadian funds and will be apportioned as deemed just by the Minister of Justice for the Province of Nova Scotia. Employees of law enforcement and correctional agencies are not eligible to collect this reward.
