Homicide DOB: January 14, 1975 The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering a reward in the amount of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Corey William Murphy.
On the 2nd of March 2004, just after 7:30 pm, 911 received a call of an injured male near the intersection of Hilden Drive and Herring Cove Road in Spryfield, Nova Scotia. Officers arrived on scene and discovered a male suffering from gun-shot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was identified as Corey William Murphy of Halifax. Police believe there are persons who have information that could result in the arrest and charges. Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Corey Murphy should call the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program at 1-888-710-9090. The reward is payable in Canadian funds and will be apportioned as deemed just by the Minister of Justice for the Province of Nova Scotia. Employees of law enforcement and correctional agencies are not eligible to collect this reward. |
