The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering a reward in the amount of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Corey William Murphy.

On the 2nd of March 2004, just after 7:30 pm, 911 received a call of an injured male near the intersection of Hilden Drive and Herring Cove Road in Spryfield, Nova Scotia. Officers arrived on scene and discovered a male suffering from gun-shot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was identified as Corey William Murphy of Halifax.
The Medical Examiner confirmed Mr. Murphy’s death was a homicide.
