1.2 Chain of Command

Chain of command refers to the reporting system of any structure working toward a common goal. In any work situation there may be a number of supervisors responsible for certain aspects of the fire management team. Each supervisor forms a link in the Chain of Command and it is vital that every one be familiar with the system and understand their responsibility.
